Luis Lazaro Valles
Luis Lazaro Valles has been the CEO at Citrofrut since 2022. He joined the company in 2016 as Citrus Operations Coordinator and was appointed as Managing Director of the Juices BU in 2018. In this role, he focused the team’s effort on building differentiated processing and supply chain capabilities to capture market opportunities and better serve its customers with value added products such as Organic, NFC and special citrus products.
Luis has more than 26 years of experience in operations, supply chain, business development and general management where he has added value in a range of companies from start-ups to multinationals and family businesses in the food industry, agribusiness, building materials and renewable energy sectors.
Luis holds a Bachelor’s degree as Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores of Monterrey, and an MBA from IMD International, Switzerland, as well as, the Stanford Executive Program in Palo Alto, CA.
