Luis graduated from the School of Agriculture and Livestock from the University of Sonora, with a Diploma in Agribusiness from the Technological Institute of Higher Studies of Monterrey and Diploma of Senior Management at the Latin American Institute for Organizational Management in the INCAE Business Institute in Costa Rica. He developed as a technical advisor in different agricultural fields in Sonora. He has participated as General Director in different organizations of agricultural producers such as the Hermosillo Agricultural Credit Union, Almacenadora of Hermosillo, the Association of Agricultural Organizations of Northern Sonora.
