Hector is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and mentor, recognized for his pioneering work in impact investing. He founded GrupoPaisano, which established successful community-based agricultural enterprises in Mexico. As the Founder of Loom Capital, Hector is leading the development of a Mesoamerican Landscape Regeneration Fund. In 2018, he was awarded the UBS Visionaries Social Entrepreneur of the Year for his contributions to improving small producers' lives. Since 2020, he has been a Director of the Kirchner Fellowship program.
