Héctor Francisco Piña Salinas
Héctor Francisco Piña Salinas is originally from Mexico City and holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). He also has a Master's Degree in Agribusiness Technology from the Postgraduate College, Senior Management Program in Private Equity from the Pan-American Institute of Senior Business Management, a Diploma in Corporate Finance, a Diploma in Stock Market Finance from ITAM, and Diplomas in Financial Evaluation Applied to Investment Projects and Financial Management from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Mexico City Campus.
Héctor has extensive experience at FOCIR, where he currently holds the position of CEO. Prior to that, he served as Deputy CEO of Operations and Sector Programs, and from 2003 to 2019, he held the positions of Director of Investment Analysis and Promotion, Director of Financial Products for Investment Promotion, Manager of Corporate Governance, Manager of New Products and Processes, and Project Coordinator.
He is an expert in the evaluation of investment projects and loans for the rural and agro-industrial sector, the development and administration of multi-institutional programs, the coordination of legal, financial, and accounting audits, as well as procurement processes. He has participated in boards of directors; venture capital and financing forums for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs); and agro-industrial sector forums.
