Héctor Francisco Piña Salinas
He holds a degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a master's degree in Agribusiness Technology from the Colegio de Postgraduados, and studies in Senior Management in Private Equity from the Instituto de Alta Dirección de Empresas, a diploma in Corporate Finance and Stock Market Finance from ITAM, and a diploma in Financial Evaluation Applied to Investment Projects from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico City campus.
An expert in the evaluation of investment projects and loans for the rural and agro-industrial sector, the development and administration of multi-institutional programs, and the coordination of legal, financial, and accounting audits, he has a long career at FOCIR in positions such as Deputy Director General of Operations and Sectoral Programs, Director of Investment Analysis and Promotion, Manager of New Products and Processes, and Project Coordinator. He currently serves as general director.
He has been a member of boards of directors, venture capital and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise financing forums, and agroindustrial sector forums.
He has been Director of Investment Banking at Enture Capital and an independent financial consultant.
