Diego Serebrisky is a venture capital investor with a strong track record of identifying and supporting early-stage startups across Latin America. As co-founder and managing partner of Dalus Capital, a venture capital fund with an impact focus, he leads investments in Latin American startups across three key areas: inclusion (fintech, edtech, healthtech, and HRtech), climate innovation, and business productivity.

At Dalus Capital, he has been involved in key investments, including the unicorns Clip and Technisys (acquired by SoFi), where he has also served on the board. He currently holds board positions at several high-growth startups, including Clip, Xertica, UnDosTres, Galgo México, Bankingly, DecisionNext, and ZeBrands.

Before founding Dalus Capital, Diego spent 15 years at Advent International, a global private equity firm, where he was a managing director and a member of its investment committee for Latin America. He started in the Mexico City office and later established and led Advent’s operations in Bogotá, Colombia.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co., advising clients in Caracas, Bogotá, Johannesburg, and New York.

Beyond his investment work, Diego has been actively involved in strengthening the private equity industry in the region. He served as president of the Mexican Private Equity Association (AMEXCAP) and was a founding board member of the Colombian Private Equity Association (ColCapital). He is also a recognized speaker at industry conferences, sharing insights on venture capital, impact investing, and climate innovation.
