David Hernández
David Hernández is a Biochemical Engineer graduated from the National Polytechnic Institute, with an MBA and a Diploma in Senior Management from ITESM, as well as a specialisation in the Pharmaceutical Industry and a Leadership Course from IESE. Since 2013 he has served as Global Procurement Officer of Grupo Bimbo, leading the global procurement strategy and contributing to the strengthening of the company's supply chain.
With more than 30 years of experience in multinational companies, he has developed his career in key areas such as Quality, Marketing and Supply Chain. Between 1995 and 2010, he held various senior positions in Marketing and Purchasing at Danone Group, based in Mexico, Spain and France. Subsequently, he was SVP Supply Chain at Deoleo (Bertolli/Carbonell) in Italy and Spain between 2010 and 2012.
His commitment to professional training led him to serve as Professor of Purchasing and Negotiation at the Escuela de Empresarios (EDEM) in Valencia, Spain, between 2012 and 2021. His profile combines a solid academic background, strategic vision and international experience, which allows him to drive high-impact initiatives in the business environment.
